Connecting WhatsApp
SportBot is intended to let a venue connect its WhatsApp Business account or phone number to automate customer conversations and bookings. The connection is expected to use Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, subject to Meta's onboarding requirements and the venue's authorization.
When connected, messages sent to the venue may be received and processed by SportBot and its service providers so the assistant can answer questions, collect booking details, send booking-related responses, and hand conversations to venue staff. Venue staff may also access conversation and booking information in the service. Customers should contact the venue about their messages and reservations.
Connecting, disconnecting, and managing the WhatsApp account will be subject to the final integration and Meta's terms and privacy practices. This policy will be updated with the actual connection process, providers, and data handling before launch.
